Richwine Environmental Inc. offers presentations on many different subjects pertaining to water and wastewater treatment.  It is our goal to share our knowledge with operators, staff, distributors, other firms, and anyone who would like to learn more about these subjects and projects.

Presentations

Lower Tualatin Pump Station

The Lower Tualatin Pump station is an example of  form meeting function.  This presentation shows the thought process by the design and process teams on project location, project need, project components, design difficulties, sustainability in design, and construction in a  park.  This project was a success in demonstrating the improvements that can result in a neighborhood with an infrastructure project.

MBR Disinfection Fundamentals

The MBR process is unique in that it not only produces an excellent effluent with low BOD, TSS and ammonia concentrations, but it also does removes pathogens due to the small pore size of the membranes.  This presentation was given to a Northwest Membrane Operators Workshop.  The presentation discusses the basics of disinfection and then provides insight on the pathogen removal provided by an MBR process and how current regulatory design criteria do not address this benefit.
